It's About Making a Difference

At Steve Marshall Ford, we believe in supporting our neighbours and our friends in the community.

We assist and enhance many events and charities by providing volunteers, large and customized New Ford trucks, tents and anything else that we can do to help. Fun events occur all year long, check out our Photo Gallery of events past. Here is where we will be in the next small while:

7th Annual Save-On Foods Dragon Boat Festival

The 7th Annual Save-On-Foods Dragon Boat Festival will take place July 10-12, 2009 on the beautiful waterfront in downtown Nanaimo, “The Harbour City”. This promotes Nanaimo as “one of the most beautiful waterfronts in Canada”, as a tourist destination. Based on six successful past events, the Festival can host 90 teams, bringing over 2200 participants this year to our beautiful city.

The Nanaimo Dragon Boat Festival Society is unique as it donates 100% of the net proceeds to the Nanaimo Hospital Foundation to assist in improving the diagnostic-treatment process of breast cancer patients. IN 2008, THE FESTIVAL DONATED 80000 to the Nanaimo Hospital Foundation.
