The standard Personal Safety System® uses smart sensors to deploy the dual-stage driver and front-passenger airbags in just the right way, at just the right time. The Front Passenger Sensing System (FPSS) knows if there's someone in the passenger seat and his/her basic size. Then it sends a signal to activate or deactivate the airbag.
Wherever you are in relation to your Fusion, you can breathe easy. The optional Safety and Security Package provides 1st and 2nd-row side-curtain airbags, enhancing head protection for your passengers who like to sit by the window. And when you have to park and part ways with your Fusion, the anti-theft perimeter alarm will work to protect your car.
